Did a 5yr old draw your artwork with a crayon?

Not Too Frequently Asked Questions:

Did a 5yr old draw your artwork with a crayon and were they dizzy on lemonade?

No, i drew them actually (and i don't even like lemonade).
I wanted to explore a style of game-art that was new to me and found that this style allows you to smash scenes together quite quickly which helps when you only have 48hrs for a GameJam and i decided to stick with it.

Yes but,  surely you were drunk or had a touch of diarrhea  when you drew those graphics, i mean they are a bit wonky aren't they?

well, actually they were intentionally "wonky", i was going for  an exaggerated perspective view but also trying to avoid having to draw any complex background imagery.

You are aware that there are many other colors out there to choose from, right?

Of course, i have seen them, i do get out you know, sometimes, but I decided to try a limited color palette and chose the NES (original Nintendo) palette which has 54 colors and i like the limitations that it imposes on you (plus there is no yellow) and i like the large flat areas of clashing colors, especially in full-screen, it creates a strange atmosphere.

Well, where is full screen?

Full screen is disabled at the minute as i cannot seem to get the scaling right with unity canvas's but i will be sorting that out as soon as i can.

Why would someone want to take on the boring role of a lonely night shift cashier in a game.. for fun?

Well, this one, i am really not quite too sure that i have even the slightest clue as to why someone would find this entertaining, but for some reason i find mundane games that feel like work, well,  kinda interesting and fun.
Why do i spend full 8 hour shifts playing FarmSim and ETS2? There's something in there somewhere but let's not analyse it, i'm not sure i want to know..

Aren't you supposed to hang the game up after a GameJam, i mean nobody really finishes a game right, it's just a bit of fun?

Yes, well people have lives don't they but i have a hard time letting things go, and after i spent that entire weekend with 3 hours sleep coming up with the main concept and trying to get as much of it smashed together in the 48hr window as i could, i now have a few sheets of crumpled, coffee-soaked papers with some strange doodles and incomprehensible scribbles that i feel like i should dig through, decipher and at least make sure they get added into a slightly more polished version.
So here i am.

Plus it would be nice if the game actually resembled a game rather than a bunch of petrol station gadgetry on a screen that you can click and fidget with.
Surely you saw the original Game Jam entry?
